Lionel Hutz Declines Offer to Join Trump Legal Team
Lionel Hutz, Attorney at Law, today indicated that he would decline an offer to join President Trump's under siege legal team.
Mr. Hutz, who has mainly appeared before the courts as a lawyer, had previously guaranteed to prove President Trump "guilty of being extremely innocent".
Talks were believed to be progressing well despite some reticence from Mr. Hutz at the prospect of facing Bob Mueller. "Uh oh! Bob Mueller you say! He's kinda had it in for me ever since I ran over his dog...well actually replace the word 'kinda' with 'repeatedly' and the word 'dog' with 'son'", Mr. Hutz is understood to have replied.
However, the ongoing fallout from Rudy Giuliani's media appearances this week are believed to have convinced Mr. Hutz that President Trump's legal defence is now a lost cause and potentially harmful to his professional reputation.
At the time of writing, Mr. Hutz had reportedly asked Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders if she would be interested in buying an "awfully cosy, rustic" 2 bed house.
